Based on the 2011 book The Taliban Shuffle, WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT brings the memoir to life with the help of Tina Fey as journalist Kim Barker, who was embedded with U.S. troops in the Middle East during Operation Enduring Freedom and whom encountered a bevy of memorable characters during her time reporting in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Billy Bob Thornton, Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman and Alfred Molina round out a powerful supporting cast that help bring this fish-out-of-water (and into the desert) story of journalistic bravery to the big screen.
