Our fourth annual summer picnic is coming up this weekend! Several professionals in the hearing loss field will be hosting booths with information about their services and will be on hand to answer questions and share their resources. Be sure to visit our wonderful vendors!

This year, we are hosting our biggest raffle ever! Funds from the raffle will help send steering committee member Lucy Crabtree as the HLAA-KC delegate to the HLAA National Convention in Rhode Island. We look forward to learning from her experience when she returns! Extra funds from the raffle will also go toward equipment costs for our regular meetings and printing costs for promotional materials. I know hearing sohocl or deaf sohocl will not allow dog in the sohocl ,, it is Rules of sohocl boards decide as deaf boy can Not have his deaf dog in the sohocl or would bother other students of kids would say not fair how deaf boy bring his dog in sohocl huh ,, i m sure he will be in alot of trouble for that. i think deaf parent have to explain to deaf boy need to understand that he can Not bring dog in sohocl i never had dog or cat in sohocl and look like stupid ,, i want to be with other same students kids what i did same as hearing people or deaf people we are all Normal as we suppose to study there sohocl classmates , i can understand that deaf boy dont know about anythings in sohocl has rules by time how old deaf boy is ? i bet he would be like 8 or 9 years old and he dont understand about rules in sohocl and he supposed to be same with other kids in sohocl hmmm,,good luck to u all Stone
